Walking Down The Aisle
May 17, 2024
Hope you have fun on your journey!

Hello Beautiful Brides,

So, you're nervous as all get out about walking down the aisle. The struggle is real! But with these few little tips you'll look your best and know that your photos will show you are confident and gorgeous.

Tip #1 Hold your bouquet at a 45% angle. There are a few reasons for this. Most bouquets are designed to be held like this and not straight up. Everyone wants to see those pretty flowers after all. The 45% angle also puts your arms in a better position to your body. Even if you're holding your bouquet in one hand at your side for a photo, as your being escorted or whatever, hold it at a 45% angle with loose arms not hunched close to your body. Remember tilt your flowers and relax your arms.

Tip #2 Keep your elbows at your waist or belt area. This stops you from looking all hunched up and your arms looking short and stubby. When you hold your arms at your waist, your arms are a bit more extended and your upper body is more relaxed, loose and natural. While you should be mindful of your elbows around your waist area, don't get so concerned that you look artificial. Practice a little holding some flowers that way you are not worried about how your arms look and you look naturally loose and relaxed.

Tip #3 Hold your bouquet down low. There are a few phrases to help you remember this. By your pubes not your boobs Put your bush to your bush Belt not bust

Tip #4 As you're walking down the aisle and get to the back of the chairs, stop and pause for a moment. This is a good time for someone to fluff your dress so it's prefect as you walk down the aisle. This pause also gives you a second to zone in and just be present. Take in all the beauty and appreciate your groom looking back at you. It can be one of the most special parts of your ceremony.

Tip #5 Walk down the aisle slowly. Now I don't mean like a sloth, but at a slow enough pace for everyone to get a good look at you. You are the star of the show. Your photographer will be able to catch some amazing shots if you take your time and savor the moment.

Tip #6 Lastly, don't look down and smile as you walk. This is the beginning of one of the most important chapters in your life story. Look at your partner looking back at you. This will help to prevent you from looking down and will make it much easier to rock that beautiful smile.

And there you have it. Hopefully this has given you a few tips to help you look your best as you walk down the aisle on your wedding day.
